Course of Action:
- Once a noise issue has been identified by your Risk Assessment we can undertake regular hearing tests to monitor the health of your employees to help you meet your statutory requirements under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (2005).
Testing:
- The tests themselves can then be performed on all affected workers, detecting an hearing loss and can then be signposted for further management referral.
Regulation Compliance:
- Our organisation complies strictly with the standards set out by the Control of Noise at Work Regulations (2005).

Course of Action:
Noise assessments will be carried out by a qualified professional, determining whether there are areas that could potentially be noise hazards.

- Every 5 years after 45 years
- Age 65+ should have annual checks
- After absences of more than one month, or shorter if the illness was serious and could affect the driver

Workstation Assessments
Due to the sedentary nature that these jobs promote, joints and ligaments spend hours upon end loaded in a certain position, which, if repeated daily, is a major risk factor for WRMSD’s.
Display Screen Equipment is used in almost every job, and some people spend the majority of their working day staring at a screen.
Improper set up of this type of equipment can lead to health problems inluding:
- Fatigue
- Eye Strain
- Upper Limb Problems
- Backache
We have continual success in deploying these methods. It has been said that having careful consideration of ones workstation ergonomics can result in up to 10% productivity increases.
